Hedgie offers 3 types of services to members:

We are building a community of compatible people who can trust each other. We expect members to respect our copyright of content available to members. You may print the information, including photographs, only for the private, noncommercial use of your immediate travel group.

We cancel membership without a refund if privileges are abused (spam, flames, false claims, copyright violations).

To enquire about use of our photos and other content for commercial use e.g. as printed guides for groups larger than 8 people, register, then send us e-mail.

Access to our Sample FAQs is open to all and the first seven are free with registration. Access to all other FAQs can be purchased for € 2 when you register. After you login, just click on the "Hedgie's FAQs: 2 euros." link in the Welcome article. It will take you to the payment page.

Hedgie's site is set up to help independent travelers be independent. Our FAQ's are extensive, covering just about every aspect of the questions asked.

For example, before you ask about hotels, read all our recommendations in FAQ#4. After that, you can probably book something great by yourself. We have more candid and more current advice than any paper guidebook. We do not get commissions or kickbacks. Our selected hotels are those we recommend to friends of all ages.

Custom Services on Request
Hedgie provides custom services for members in good standing. As an independent traveler, you will sometimes not have time to research a question yourself or want specific information to help you avoid wasted time, poor choices, sold-out festival performances, and the like. We can also help you plan the most fantastic vacation of your life: a honeymoon, romantic getaway, retirement trip, or family reunion.

We work on an hourly basis, at 30 to 70 € /hour, depending on complexity. Requests must be made well in advance. We will give you an estimate before we start. Hedgie is the Czech Republic's first and best in providing this unique service to independent travelers!
